John Paul Village, located in the leafy suburb of Heathcote on the verge of the Royal National Park, provides 166 self care units, 87 low care, 76 high care and 20 community aged care packages. It was commenced by, and remains an active part of the Parish of St John Bosco Engadine.

Reporting to the Board, your challenge will be to lead the organisation, enhancing its profile and performance, overseeing its expansion and developing future opportunities. You will engage with local and regional health services, professionals and the broader community respectively, representing the organisation and fostering strong working relationships. Your drive and business acumen will allow you to lead the organisation into the future, focusing on the organisation’s strategic development and continued strong financial performance. You will have a clear appreciation of the quality and risk aspects of aged care services and good Human Resources management.

With a track record of successful management experience, you demonstrate strategic vision, strong communication, financial management, leadership qualities and a commitment to a Christian ethos by improving the welfare of the aged. You will have a sound knowledge of computer programs, a minimum 5 years experience in a similar sized human services organisation at senior management level and a tertiary qualification in business management is essential. Knowledge of industry specific state and federal legislation is highly desirable.
